A table shaped by mountain, fire, and season.
Paella catering, private chef dinners, weddings, and culinary experiences rooted in the Methow Valley—and designed to feel generous, personal, and completely at home here.
The Methow is not a backdrop. It is part of the menu.
The valley has a character of its own: dry hills and cold rivers, orchards and farms, smoke in the air, snow on the peaks, and long summer evenings around a table. Jon’s food begins there.
From that foundation, the cooking draws on the elemental warmth of the Mediterranean—fire, saffron, olive oil, herbs, citrus, vegetables at their peak, and food meant to be passed and shared.
For gatherings large, small, and worth remembering.
Each menu is built around the people, the place, and the reason for gathering—not around a fixed package.

Meet Chef Jon
One pan. Open fire. Everyone at the table.
Paella is dinner and theater at once. Guests watch the pan come together—the rice, stock, saffron, vegetables, seafood or meats, and the final crisp socarrat—then gather around a meal made to be shared.
Menus can be built around local vegetables, seafood, thoughtfully sourced meats, or a combination tailored to your event. It is rustic, celebratory, and naturally suited to the Methow.
Dinner that feels at home where you are.
A private dinner should belong to its setting. It might be a quiet anniversary meal in a mountain cabin, a long table at a family property, or a multi-course evening for friends visiting the valley.
Jon handles the menu, sourcing, preparation, service, and kitchen reset so the host can stay at the table.
Plan a private dinner
“Good hospitality should feel generous, personal, and completely at home in its setting.”
Experience in the kitchen. Ease at the table.
Jon has spent more than two decades cooking, leading kitchens, training teams, and creating memorable dining experiences in the Methow Valley. As chef-owner of Arrowleaf Bistro, he became known for seasonal cooking, warm service, and food with a strong sense of place.
Today, that same experience comes directly to private homes, weddings, retreats, and community gatherings. His approach is straightforward: listen carefully, plan thoroughly, cook with intention, and make the experience feel easy for the guest.
Bring us the place, the people, and the reason. We’ll build the meal around it.
Share your date, location, guest count, and the kind of gathering you have in mind. You do not need to have the menu figured out—that part begins with a conversation.
